How do I return an item?

Inception Designs offers a 30-Day return and exchange policy on all items new, unused, and still in their original packaging.

All new product returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Any used product that is returned to Inception Designs will be subject to a restocking/resale fee, no less than 40% and no greater than 80%, and is determined solely by Inception Designs.

All returns must have an RMA# clearly displayed on the outside of the package. All items that are returned to Inception Designs, without a valid RMA# will be refused and will be returned to the sender, at sender's expense. Incomplete returns or additional items not authorized for return will be subject to additional charges at Inception Designs sole discretion. Inception Designs will not be held responsible for typographical errors.

DO NOT use the item's packaging as the shipping box! Any item returned with damaged or missing packaging will be considered "used" and will be subject to additional restocking fees. "Use" is defined as any attempt to install, fire, wear, or wash.

Any items that are returned to Inception Designs as undeliverable or refused will automatically be subject to an additional 20% restocking fee.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the purchaser. Shipping costs will not be refunded on returns or refused packages.

RAW/UNANODIZED PARTS MUST BE ANODIZED BEFORE USE. Using RAW parts or assembling them without anodizing immediately VOIDS all warranty. RAW Parts are provided only for custom anodizing and not to provide a "silver" finish.

ANODIZING AND BLEMISHES. 
 
We don't do the anodizing in house, we have several outside sources that do the anodizing for us. The process involves hand work and isn't always perfect. Some areas of the parts make not take dye during the anodizing process and leave silver dots or marks but the part is still anodized and as long as it isn't over 2% of the surface area the anodizing companies considers it acceptable. This means it is not eligible for return as a defect. If you are not happy with the anodizing you can return it, at your cost for shipping both ways, and we will work with you to try and find a part that is acceptable but due to this being an outside process we can not guarantee the anodizing work unless it is outside of the anodizing companies acceptable parameters.
